Our stories matter, our storytellers matter. What impactful story are you engaging the world with today?
— Founder, Monica L. Williams

‍ ‍We help storytellers tell better stories.

Creative Legacy Projects, L.L.C. is a studio and consulting firm.

I’m Monica L. Williams, a cultural strategist working at the intersection of artist care, AI fluency, and creative collaboration — helping artists, institutions, and executives build practices that hold both the work and the people making it. For twenty years, I've practiced the C.A.R.E Method™️ alongside Pulitzer Prize-winning playwrights, MacArthur Fellows, and the everyday working artist, cultural worker and senior leader. Creative Legacy Projects is where the practice lives.

We believe in storytellers and their impact!

We believe storytelling’s power spans sectors, roles, and media, and that supporting and preserving storytellers is a key value strategy. Therefore, we lead with and center care. What sets us apart is our intention: we take time to understand and create with purpose at every step; we pay structured attention to what the work actually needs from the people making it.

Our Studio services

For foundations, cultural institutions, and movement organizations designing the next chapter of artist-centered work.

I help leaders build artist-care infrastructure that holds — through audits, cohort design, and embedded counsel grounded in the C.A.R.E. methodology.

C.A.R.E. Consulting

For artistic collaborators in the making process.

The making is the relationship. I hold structured attention for two collaborators making creative work together — so the work gets braver, the relationship stays whole, and the piece becomes more itself.
